The final girl in a slasher film refers to the last woman or girl alive to confront the killer. A few examples of films where the final girl has appeared could be Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Halloween. The final girl is typically sexually unavailable or virginal.
Because our production is only the opening of a film we don't see if there is a 'final girl' at the end of our production. But we have set the opening up so it can easily lead to there being one.
In our production the final girl that plans to be there at the end will be 'Megan Claydon.' She is meant to be a typical Scream Queen who is getting punished by the protagonist after a night in with her boyfriend.
